Fall Workday – Saturday October 8, 2022

It’s hard to believe that Summer is coming to an end and Fall is near. I remember our last fall workday with fondness. We asked our founder Pat Misener, “what do we do if it rains?” His reply was a simple one. “We work in the rain.”

It has been one year this month since Wendy and I began serving at Smile Again Ministries. That year passed so quickly and we have been blessed by many wonderful experiences. Wendy and I have been able to spend time with many of the families who over the past 14 years have been guests at Smile Again Ministries’ Whitetail Lodge.

We are excited to announce the date for our Spring Work Day - Saturday, May 14th, 2022. We welcome your help as we prepare the gardens for our spring and summer guests. We will also need assistance preparing lunch for our volunteers this day.

We are so very grateful for all of our faithful supporters! Our Celebration of Life Campaign raised 57,232.00! Smile Again Ministries will be able to continue helping families during what can be their darkest times…

As of today we are one month into our Celebration of Life fundraiser. We asked in faith and you responded! So far, we have received 32,262.00 towards our goal of 60,000.00. We are just over halfway there. These funds help us continue to offer a quality program to help hurting families who find themselves in the midst of grief and pain after the loss of a child…
