THE SAME POWER!

Many times Judy and I are asked, "How did you make it after Mickey died?" And our answer is a simple one word answer, "God." But even though I say it's simple, it's not really is it?

I wish I could say that being a Christian made everything okay from the very first minute we lost Mickey. But Judy and I struggled. Our faith was rocked to the core. And we had to ask ourselves many times, "Do we really believe what the Bible says? Do we really believe God loves us? Do we really believe in the midst of all this pain?"

A song has been bouncing around in my head for some time now. It's a song by Jeremy Camp entitled SAME POWER. Here's a link to the song on YouTube. If you've lost a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, accident, disease, suicide or murder then you need to listen to this song. It's a reminder to all of us that the same power that raised Jesus from dead will also raise believers from the dead at the end of time. It's just an incredibly encouraging song to me.
