Waterfront Improvements on a cold day

Special thanks to this crew of guys who put in new railing heading down to the lake. The Crew from the Battle Lake Alliance Church in Battle Lake, MN included Dave Scherling, Rob Moll, Big Al Hart and Jan Hanson.

Four guys from the Battle Lake Alliance Church in Battle Lake, MN braved wintery weather to put in new railing down to the waterfront at Whitetail Lodge. Even though the wind was blowing and the temps were right around freezing these guys put in an great railing system.

If you'd like to do some volunteer work at Whitetail Lodge then next Saturday is your chance. Our annual Spring Workday begins at 9:00 am on May 21. We need people to help put down mulch in our two large garden areas, as well as some other clean up around the lodge. Once again George and Phyllis Colaizy will be making their special spaghetti and meatball meal for all the workers.

If you can come please let us know via email ( pat@smileagainministries.com ) so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone. We can use both men and women for this workday. We promise (actually the Weather Channel is projecting) a beautiful 75 degree day with plenty of sunshine. So join us if you can. God bless, and remember - we love you guys. Pat & Judy
