Spring Work Day!

A lot of people have responded positively to the news of our new Directors, Tristan and Jill Borland. if you would like to meet them and their family you can do so on Saturday, June 3 when SAM has our Spring Workday beginning at 9:00 am. Heavy winter snows have made it necessary to move our workday from May into June to be sure the garden areas will be open for mulching and planting.

This year we’re going to need plenty of volunteer help because the heavy snowfall has caused many trees to be bent to the ground or snapped off. So, they’ll have to be cut down and cut up for firewood. We’ll need help getting the pontoon, fishing boat, and kayaks down to the waterfront. We’ll also need help getting the straw off the garden areas and new mulch put down.

We need this information so that we can plan food and supplies needed for the day. You will receive an email confirmation as well as directions to Whitetail Lodge.
